Online Identity

The web as a virtual social place represents a space in which people have the possibility to express and expose their identity in a social context. For example: people who create user profiles in a social network  such as facebook or communities, or by using blogs, they create their own identities.

In my opinion, identity protection is one of the most important considerations in today’s society, 

In any moment, we are asked to give our emails, mailing, web site address, or even more personal information,  but we did not realise about the consequences. This is because it is hard to imagine but by simply and sometimes innocently, our real life identity can be compromised.
